Double Page Spread Evaluation

After creating my double page spread, I felt that it was good for a first time. It was more difficult making it on two pages and having more writing. The picture I used could have been edited a little more but I was beginning to experiment with the editing. The font used was clear and it went well with the color scheme. For my final magazine, I will add more text and make it more thorough. Since this was just a sample, I did not spend as much time on it.

For my research, I have been looking at different magazine genres, these are the ones that have interested me the most. The examples are provided below: Cooking = This magazine is made up mostly of different types of food recipes but also includes cooking tips and etc. Education = In these magazines, one will be able to find information on world news among other information intended from preschool to university. Entertainment = This might be my personal favorite magazine since it has a little of everything and can be very useful when bored, it also has uses for both men and women. Props in Fashion Magazine

When props are used in a fashion magazine it is meant to help add a better understanding of whats going on in the picture. Props are seen throughout many magazines and make the magazine iyself look better. This persuades me to think if I should put props into my magazine. These pictures are a great example of how props are used in magazines.
