After interviewing one of my classmates on the cover page, I went on to the contents page. This was to see if my color scheme looked good and if there is anything that I should change about it. Video: link

As my first interview, I asked my classmate questions about my sample cover page. This was to help me gather their thoughts on things I should improve on and things that I am doing well on. Here is the interview. Video: link

Now that I completed my sample magazine, I will be doing some market research on it. Instead of creating another survey, I will conduct some interviews on my classmates to gather their thoughts and see if they would be interested. Here are the questions I came up with. What do you think of my cover/contents/double page spread sample? What is something I could improve on? Is there anything you would change? Would any other color scheme be better? Should I experiment more with images? What popped out at you the most? What did you like the most about my sample?

Since the beginning of the process, my team and I have been experimenting with the magazine name Fashion Buzz. However, it is not definitive. We want it to be something that really catches the attention of our target audience. We had other ideas to name it Phasion or Glam as well. So far, we will continue to use Fashion Buzz, but will continue to think of more creative names. Asking a few of our classmates on their opinion will help shape the perfect title for our magazine.

After creating my double page spread, I felt that it was good for a first time. It was more difficult making it on two pages and having more writing. The picture I used could have been edited a little more but I was beginning to experiment with the editing. The font used was clear and it went well with the color scheme. For my final magazine, I will add more text and make it more thorough. Since this was just a sample, I did not spend as much time on it.

After gathering some ideas, I decided to create my own sample of a double page spread. Since it was the first time, I did not put too much writing on it.

I have been gathering a few ideas on what to include inside my double page spread and what I want it to look like.

      This blog will be about looking at how I can improve my contents page. After creating my own contents page, I feel satisfied with my work. There are only a few things I need to improve on. I may need to use a better picture in the future, one that can be centered better. Another issue I would fix is make sure that I have a font that is clearly visible such as something bold because my letters were too small and might be a little difficult to see.

After gathering ideas for a contenta page, I created my own to better understand how to create one.

This will be all about what my contents page will look like. The samples below are good examples of what mine will look like. 

This blog will be about me rethinking the cover page sample that I have created and thinking of how I can make it better. The first flaw that I noticed was that the colors on the cover page didn't blend in well together which caused confusion. Another small issue I had was the colors on the letters made them kind of hard to see. however, I did like the fact that it was two models and how they were posing as well as their outfits. I will definitely be improving my next cover page.

This cover page is a good idea of what my magazine's cover page will look like. I was able to experiment with different colors and fonts to get an idea of what I will be doing for my final magazine.

In this blog I will show examples of what my magazine will look like in the fact that it is a cover of  a male and a female together and there are examples of different styles of fashion.
